The Department adopts current Handbook 44 as published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology as the specifications, tolerances and other technical requirements for weighing and measuring devices in Mississippi, except where modified, amended, or rejected herein. A copy of Handbook 44 may be obtained from the NIST website.
