The purpose of this Rule as set out in Miss. Code Ann. Section 69-37-1 thru Section 69-37-37 is to secure the suppression, eradication or containment/maintenance of the boll weevil in cotton. To meet these ends this Rule imposes quarantines and certifies a cotton grower's organization to cooperate with other state and federal agencies.
