Oakley Youth Development Center shall address the management of serious infectious and communicable diseases for the safety of staff and youth. In the event of an epidemic or pandemic or declared medical emergency, Oakley Youth Development Center shall have the authority to establish alternative standards of care regarding departmental policies and procedures related to communicable and infectious disease management, which supersede facility programming and may supersede other specific departmental policies and procedures.
