Rule 18-17-6.4 - Non-Payment of Co-Payment FeesCo-payment fees shall be paid during the current month directly to the child care provider according to the child care certificate issued by DECCD. Child Care providers shall maintain proof of collection of co-payment fees, identified separately from tuition overage payments made by parents.
1) Providers must provide proof of co-payment fees to parents in the form of a receipt that must include the following:d. Child care provider's name and signature, ande. Child care center's name (if applicable).2) If a parent fails to pay the co-payment fee prior to the end of the month, the provider shall notify DECCD. If the parent requests a change in child care provider with an outstanding balance of co-payment fees to the current provider, the parent must pay all co-payment fees before a new certificate is issued.45 CFR 98.45(k); Miss.
