Rule 18-14-22.13 - Disqualification for Substantial Lottery or Gambling WinningsA. Substantial lottery or gambling winnings are cash prizes equal to or greater than the maximum allowable resource limit for elderly or disabled household as set by FNS that were won in a single game before taxes or other withholdings.B. Receipt of substantial winnings must be reported to MDHS.C. A household certified to receive benefits will lose eligibility immediately and be disqualified upon receipt of substantial lottery or gambling winnings by any individual in the household.D.
