Rule 15-5-85-3.11.1

When a person with a Mississippi registered birth is adopted in this or any other state, a new birth certificate shall be prepared by the State Registrar and registered in accordance with Section 93-17-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. The State Registrar shall honor orders of courts of other states having appropriate jurisdiction over Mississippi born persons in matters of adoption.
