The State Board of Health declares the diseases listed in the following table and/or infectious agents, transmissible by blood or body fluids, to require the use of appropriate blood and body fluid precautions, including notification of other health care personnel, emergency medical personnel, and providers of postmortem services as indicated by accepted standard of medical practice or required by law.
