Rule 15-19-60-6.4.4 - Temporary Licensure:
1. A temporary license may be granted to an applicant for licensure meeting the requirements in the licensure requirements section of these regulations who has not previously applied to take the approved examination.
a. Temporary license must be issued before the individual starts to train or practice as a hearing aid specialist.
2. The Department may issue a temporary license to applicants meeting the licensure requirements section of these regulations, which shall entitle the applicant to practice the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids for a period ending thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the next examination given after the minimum ninety (90) day training period has elapsed.
a. Supervision agreement must be properly completed and dated ensuring that the beginning date is approximately two weeks prior to the start date.
