It shall be unlawful for any individual to perform tattooing and/or body piercing upon any person for compensation within the State of Mississippi without possessing a current and valid Certificate of Registration issued by the Mississippi Department of Health. The Certificate of Registration shall contain the name of the person registered to do the tattooing and/or body piercing, and the name and location of the establishment, and shall indicate whether the registrant has a "Regular" or "Provisional" status.
Note: No individual shall perform tattooing and/or body piercing upon any person without possessing a current and valid Certificate of Registration issued by the Mississippi Department of Health.
