Rule 15-19-60-10.8.3 - Summary Suspension1. The Department may summarily suspend a license without a hearing, simultaneously with the filing of a formal complaint and notice of hearing, if the Department determines that: a. the health, safety, or welfare of the general public is in immediate danger; orb. the licensee's physical capacity to practice his/her profession is in issue; orc. the licensee's mental capacity to practice his/her profession is in issue.2. If the Board summarily suspends a license, a hearing must begin within twenty (20) days after such suspension begins, unless continued at the request of the licensee.15 Miss. Code. R. 19-60-10.8.3
