Hearing Officer. Shall mean an individual appointed by the Director to preside over the Administrative Hearing with power to administer oaths, take testimony, rule on questions of evidence and make agency determinations of fact. The may be employee of the Department or the Licensing Agency provided this individual is not directly involved in the investigation.
