Such records shall be kept confidential and only authorized personnel shall have access to the record. Staff members and other persons having access to patient records shall be required to abide by the written policies regarding confidentiality of patient records and disclosure of information in the records as well as all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Policies on confidentiality of records shall also conform to the alcohol and drug abuse confidentiality regulations as published in Part IV of the July 1, 1975 Federal Register.
