When indicated, activity services shall be incorporated in the patient's treatment plan. Activity services that are included in a patient's treatment plan shall reflect an assessment of the patient's needs, interests, life experiences, capacities, and deficiencies. Activity services staff shall collaborate with other professional staff in delineating goals for patients' treatment, health maintenance, and vocational adjustments.
