Rule 15-16-1-49.45.1 - State Monitoring Monitors are identified by the licensing agency as appropriate professionals to monitor cited deficiencies. A monitor shall meet the guidelines regarding conflicts of interests as follows:
1. The monitor does not currently work, or, within the past two (2) years, has worked as an employee, as employment agency staff at the ICF-IID and/or at the ICF-IID residential community home or as an officer, consultant, or agent for the ICF-IID and/or the ICF-IID Residential Community Home to be monitored.2. The monitor has no financial interest or any ownership interest in the ICF-IID and/or the ICF-IID Residential Community Home.3. The monitor has no immediate family member who has a relationship with the ICF-IID and/or the ICF-IID Residential Community Home to be monitored.4. The monitor has no immediate family member who is a client in the ICF-IID and/or the ICF-IID Residential Community Home.5. If an ICF-IID has not achieved substantial compliance within five (5) months of the annual licensure survey, the remedy of state monitoring will be imposed as determined by the licensing agency.15 Miss.
