Upon employment each employee of the home health agency shall receive thorough orientation to his position; the agency's organization, policies and objectives; the functions of other agency health personnel and how they relate to each other in caring for the patient; relationship of the home health agency to other community agencies; standards of ethical practice; confidentiality; and patient's rights. Facilities shall comply with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and/or the Mississippi State Department of Health regarding baseline employee TB testing and routine serial employee TB testing and education.
