The medical staff shall delineate in its bylaws, rules and regulations, the qualifications, status, clinical duties, and responsibilities of consultant physicians who are not members of the medical and dental staff but whose services require that they be processed through the usual medical staff channels. The training, experience, and demonstrated competence of individuals in such categories shall be sufficient to permit their performing their assigned functions.
