The hospital shall maintain or have available radiological services according to needs of the hospital, either in the hospital building proper or in an adjacent clinic or medical facility that is readily accessible to the hospital patients, physicians, and personnel. If therapeutic x-ray services are also provided, they, as well as the diagnostic services, shall meet professionally approved standards for safety and personnel qualifications.
