The hospital shall have a well organized, adequately supervised and staffed clinical laboratory with the necessary space, facilities and equipment to perform those services commensurate with the hospital's needs for its patients. Anatomical pathology services and transfusion services shall be available either in the hospital or by arrangement with other facilities.
