Additional janitor's closets, equipment and supplies should be provided for laboratories, radiology, offices, locker rooms and other areas of the hospital. Housekeeping equipment or supplies used for cleaning in isolation or contaminated areas shall not be used in any other area of the hospital before it has been properly cleaned and sterilized.
