There shall be a systematic record of diets, correlated when appropriate, with the medical records. The dietitian shall have available an up-to-date manual or regimens for all therapeutic diets, approved jointly by the dietitian and medical staff, which is available to dietary supervisory personnel. Diets served to patients shall be in compliance with these established diet principles.
