There is an emergency kit that is : a. made up under the supervision and responsibility of the pharmacist, and approved by the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee; b. readily available to staff yet not accessible to patients; c. constituted so as to be appropriate to the needs of the patients; and d. inspected monthly to remove deteriorated and outdated drugs and to ensure completeness of content.
