Rule 15-16-1-4.16.1 - Medical Evaluation1. Each person admitted to a licensed facility shall have admission orders and a health and physical examination prescribed by a licensed physician or certified nurse practitioner/physician assistant within thirty (30) days prior to admission. The examination, which shall be reviewed by the Medical Director, shall include, at a minimum:
a. Review of physical health, psycho-social status, cognitive status, and determination of services necessary to meet those needs;b. A summary of the client's health needs, if any, including medication, treatment and special diet orders; 2. An annual health and physical update by a physician and/or nurse practitioner/physician assistant shall be completed.15 Miss. Code. R. 16-1-4.16.1
