Rule 15-12-31-3.2.2

No person or organization may operate an air ambulance service unless such person or organization has a valid license issued by BEMS. Any person desiring to provide air ambulance services shall, prior to operation, obtain a license from BEMS. To obtain such license, each applicant for an air ambulance license shall pay the required fee and submit an application on the prescribed air ambulance licensure application forms. Applicant must submit one copy of the plan of medical control at least 30 days prior to service start date for approval by BEMS and State EMS Medical Director. The license shall automatically expire at the end of the licensing period.
