Must hold current certification in the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses, and shall hold current certification in an advanced trauma care course such as Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). These certifications may be waived as prerequisites if the educational program will include the provision of said certifications as part of the program.
