Rule 15-11-55-2.2.8 - Renewal of License1. The licensing agency shall issue licenses that may be renewed annually. The licensing agency shall mail a renewal notice, at least 75 days prior to the expiration date of the license, to the address of the operator registered with the licensing agency. The operator shall: a. Complete the renewal form.b. Submit all certificates of inspection and approval required by the licensing agency.c. Enclose the renewal fee.d. File the above with the licensing agency at least 30 days prior to the expiration date on the license. NOTE: Renewal applications postmarked less than 30 days prior to the expiration date of the license shall be assessed a $25.00 late fee.
2. An operator who does not file the renewal application prior to the date that the license expires will be deemed to have allowed the license to lapse. Said license may be reinstated by the licensing agency, in its discretion, by payment of both the renewal fee and the reinstatement fee, provided said application for reinstatement is made within one month of the expiration date of the license. After the one month reinstatement period, it shall be required that an application for an initial license be submitted. All licensure requirements in effect at the time the new initial application is filed shall be met.15 Miss. Code. R. 11-55-2.2.8
