Rule 1-5-9.3 - Fees for travelIn addition to the fees authorized under Rule 9.01 (relating to fees for notarial acts), a notary public may additionally charge a travel fee when traveling to perform a notarial act if:
G. The notary public and the individual requesting the notarial act agree upon the travel fee in advance of the travel; andH. The notary public explains to the individual requesting the notarial act that the travel fee is in addition to the notarial fee in Rule 9.01 (relating to fees for notarial acts) and is not required by law.
