Rule 1-5-5.4 - Authority of notary public to perform notarial actA. A notary public may perform the notarial acts authorized by the act in any county in this State.B. Notaries public may not perform the notarial acts authorized by the act outside the geographical borders of this State or in other states or jurisdictions unless authorized by the other state or jurisdiction to perform the acts.
