Part 6230.0290 - [Effective until 1/31/2025] BECKLIN HOMESTEAD PARK WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREASubpart 1.Open hunting.The Becklin Homestead Park Wildlife Management Area is open to hunting and trapping only to hunters and trappers with disabilities and their able-bodied partners during:
A. the established seasons according to Minnesota Statutes, section 97B.055, subdivision 3, paragraphs (a) and (b); andB. the special hunt described under subpart 2.Subp. 2.Special hunt.A. The Becklin Homestead Park Wildlife Management Area is open September 14 to December 31 for taking antlerless deer and legal bucks by archery as described in this subpart. No more than 20 permits shall be issued to hunters with disabilities. Capable Partners is the sponsor and hunters with disabilities and able-bodied partners must meet any requirements of the sponsoring organization. Hunters with disabilities and able-bodied partners may use bonus tags. This is special hunt 882.B. Hunters with disabilities must be accompanied by an able-bodied partner each time they hunt. Hunters with disabilities must purchase and possess an archery deer-hunting license. The bag limit for hunters with disabilities is two deer, one of which may be a legal buck.C. Able-bodied partners must stay within 100 yards of the hunter with disabilities and may take only legal antlerless deer. Able-bodied partners must purchase and possess an archery license.
