Part 7511.3308 - SECTION 3308, OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR FIRE PROTECTION

IFC section 3308 is amended by adding a section to read:

3308.9Construction barriers. Where construction, remodeling, or demolition is taking place involving the use of cutting and welding, temporary heating with open flames, or flammable-liquid-fueled equipment, such areas shall be separated from occupied areas of a building by materials that will resist the spread of fire and smoke as specified for draft-stopping materials in the Building Code.
