Part 7511.0606 - SECTION 606, ELEVATOR OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND FIRE SERVICE KEYSIFC section 606.2.3 is amended to read as follows:
606.2.3Two or more elevators. Where two or more elevators are controlled by a common operating system, all elevators shall automatically transfer to standby power within 60 seconds after failure of normal power where the standby power source is of sufficient capacity to operate all elevators at the same time. Where the standby power source is not of sufficient capacity to operate all elevators at the same time, the elevators shall operate according to ASME A17.1/CSA B44-2016 Section 2.27.2.
