Part 1346.1205 - SECTION 1205 VALVES IMC Section 1205.1.6 is amended to read as follows:
1205.1.6 Expansion tanks. Shutoff valves shall be installed at connections to nondiaphragm-type expansion tanks. The pipe between the boilers or mains and the expansion tank shall be a minimum of 1/2" nominal size. The valve between boilers or mains and an expansion tank shall have permanently attached thereto a metal tag that contains the following language stamped or etched thereon: "This valve must be open at all times, except when draining expansion tank."Minn.
