In addition to the surveys required under parts 4731.2000 to 4731.2950, a licensee must survey with a radiation detection survey instrument at the end of each day of use all areas where unsealed radioactive materials requiring a written directive were prepared for use or administered.B. A licensee need not perform the surveys required under item A in an area where patients or human research subjects are confined when they cannot be released under part 4731.4427.C.
