Part 4665.1300 - RESIDENT DEATH When a resident dies:
A. the date, time and circumstances of the resident's death shall be recorded in the resident's record;B. if the resident dies in the facility, the coroner's office shall be notified;C. personal belongings shall be handled in a responsible and legal manner; andD. records of a deceased individual shall be retained for a period of three years following death.Statutory Authority: MS s 144.56
