Section R. 205.3505 - Adjournment of prehearing conferenceRule 505.
(1) A prehearing conference may be adjourned only upon an order of the presiding officer.(2) Before a scheduled prehearing conference date, motions or stipulations for adjournment filed by the parties shall be in writing and shall be filed, with appropriate proof of service, at least 1 week before the date scheduled for the prehearing conference, unless a shorter period is allowed by order of the presiding officer. The presiding officer may order an adjournment on his or her own motion.(3) The presiding officer may grant 1 adjournment to each party.(4) The presiding officer may grant adjournments in such other instances as the presiding officer finds are in the interests of justice.Mich.
