Section R. 259.377 - Transfer of possession or control of aircraft; application for registrationRule 377.
(1) A dealer or manufacturer shall apply to the commission for aircraft registration before transferring possession or control of an aircraft to a purchaser.(2) A purchaser shall sign the application for registration and any other necessary papers which enable the dealer or manufacturer to apply for the registration of the aircraft.(3) An application shall be accompanied by the required fee as provided in R 259.223(2).(4) An application for registration required pursuant to this rule shall be submitted to the commission not later than 15 days after the transfer of possession or control of an aircraft to a purchaser.Mich.
