Section R. 259.351 - Intrastate air commerce; compliance with federal regulations required; advance ticket sales surety bond

Rule 351.

(1) An operator engaging in intrastate air commerce, which is the carriage of persons or property in common carriage operations solely between points entirely within the state of Michigan, shall comply with all applicable federal regulations.

(2) Before commencing any operations, an owner shall furnish, to the Michigan aeronautics commission, satisfactory proof of a surety bond in the amount of $50,000.00 to cover any advance ticket sales.
