Section R. 28.1801 - Rule 801. Standing or parking close to curb; violation as civil infraction(1) A person shall not stand or park a vehicle in a roadway other than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement, and with the right-hand wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway, except as otherwise provided in this part.(2) A person who violates this rule is responsible for a civil infraction.Mich.
