Section R. 28.1615 - Rule 615. Emerging from alley, driveway, or building; yielding right-of-way; violation as civil infraction(1) The operator of a bicycle who emerges from an alley, driveway, or building shall, upon approaching a sidewalk or the sidewalk area extending across any alleyway, yield the right-of-way to all pedestrians approaching on the sidewalk area and, upon entering the roadway, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching on the roadway.(2) A person who violates this rule is responsible for a civil infraction.Mich.
