Section R. 28.1493 - Rule 493. Display on vehicle of official designation, sign, or insignia prohibited; violation as misdemeanor(1) An owner shall not display on any part of his or her vehicle, or knowingly permit the display of, any official designation, sign, or insignia of any public or quasi-public corporation; municipal, state, or national department; or government subdivision without authority of the agency.(2) A person who violates this rule is guilty of a misdemeanor.Mich.
