Section R. 281.3504 - Marine radio and compassRule 504.
(1) The owner of a vessel which operates on the Great Lakes and Lake St. Clair shall have aboard the vessel a marine radio-telephone which is in good working condition and a current federal communication commission radiotelephone operator's license.(2) The owner of a vessel which operates on the Great Lakes and Lake St. Clair shall have aboard the vessel a suitable marine-type compass which is in good and serviceable condition.Mich.
