Section R. 281.3402 - Fixed seatsRule 402. Fixed seats, when used, shall be installed as follows:
(a) Aisles not more than 15 feet long shall be not less than 124 inches wide.(b) Aisles more than 15 feet long shall be not less than 30 inches wide.(c) Where seats are in rows, the distance from seat front to seat front shall be not less than 30 inches.(d) Seat spacing shall provide for ready escape in case of fire or other emergency.
