Section R. 281.1251 - RowboatsRule 21.
(1) A rowboat shall be equipped with personal flotation devices as required by these rules for a motorboat of the same length.(2) If underway between sunset and sunrise a rowboat shall be equipped with a lantern showing a white light which shall be readily available and shall be exhibited to a boat approaching from any direction in sufficient time to prevent collision.Mich.
