(1) Specialty certification renewal must correspond with the same schedule as the license renewal.(2) An applicant for specialty certification renewal or reregistration of a lapsed certification shall have obtained recertification or maintained certification within the 2-year period immediately before the application, from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), or a successor organization.(3) An applicant or licensee shall maintain evidence of compliance with the requirements of this rule for a period of 4 years after the date of application, during which time the board may require the licensee to submit the evidence for audit.Mich.
