Section R. 338.10404a - Specialty certification qualifications; nurse midwifeRule 404a. A specialty certification for nurse midwife shall be granted to a registered professional nurse who satisfies all of the following requirements:
(a) Holds a current and valid license to practice nursing in this state.(b) Submits an application for certification as a nurse midwife on a form provided by the department with the required fee.(c) Possesses a current certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board, Inc. (AMBC), or a successor organization. Mich. Admin. Code R. 338.10404a
