(1) The executive secretary shall continually analyze the organization, operation, and procedure of the board and, when necessary, shall recommend appropriate changes.(2) The executive secretary is responsible for the management of the office, the staff, the business of the board, and actions taken by the board that are not inconsistent with these rules.(3) The executive secretary may participate in any activity within this state that is essential to the discharge of his or her responsibilities and duties, and shall recover incurred travel expense.Mich.
