Section R. 339.5261 - ApplicabilityRule 261. These rules apply to all the following:
(a) The registration and reregistration of all building officials, plan reviewers, and inspectors.(b) The approval of educational and training programs, required testing and instructors to qualify individuals for registration, reregistration as building officials, plan reviewers, or inspectors.(c) The minimum training and experience standards, qualifications, and classification of responsibility applicable to individuals who are engaged in the administration and enforcement of codes and plan reviews.Mich.
