Section R. 408.7055a - Periodic testRule 55a. Section 8.6.7.4.1 of the ASME A17.1 code is amended to read as follows:
8.6.7.4.1.(1) Private residence inclined elevators and lifts should be subject to the periodic tests specified in 8.6.4.19, 8.6.4.20, and 8.6.4.14 to 8.6.5.16. The test requirements shall apply to the corresponding requirements in 5.4. Any additional requirements for this equipment should also be checked during these tests.(2) Private residence inclined elevators installed under the requirements of the act for use by multiple, shall be subject to the periodic tests specified in 8.6.4.19, 8.6.4.20, and 8.6.5.14 to 8.6.5.16. The test requirements shall apply to the corresponding requirements in 5.4. Any additional requirements for this equipment shall also be checked during these tests.Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.7055a
