Section R. 408.30811 - Duties and powers of code officialRule 811. Section 80. 14 is added to the code to read as follows:
80.14. Duties and powers of the code official. The code official is authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of this code. The code official may render interpretations of this code and adopt policies and procedures in order to clarify the application of its provisions. These interpretations, policies, and procedures shall be in compliance with the intent and purpose of this code. These policies and procedures shall not have the effect of waiving requirements specifically provided for in this code.Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.30811
