Section 701.2 of the code is amended and section 701.9 is added to read as follows:
701.2. Sewer required. Every building in which plumbing fixtures are installed and all premises having drainage piping shall be connected to a public sewer, where available, or an approved private sewage disposal system.701.9. Connections. Direct connection of a steam exhaust, blowoff, or drip pipe shall not be made with the building drainage system. Waste water where discharged into the building drainage system shall be at a temperature not greater than 140°F (60°C). Where higher temperatures exist, approved cooling methods shall be provided.Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.30730
