Section R. 408.30401a - Adult foster care facilities and child care organizationsRule 401a.
(1) Promulgation authority for fire safety standards for facilities and camps licensed or registered under the adult foster care facility licensing act, 1979 PA 218, being MCL 400.701 et seq., and the child care organizations act, 1973 PA 116, being MCL 722.101 et seq., is vested in the department of human services and the bureau of fire services.(2) Until amended or rescinded by the promulgating authority, the 2003 Michigan building code provisions relative to fire safety standards for facilities and camps licensed or registered under the adult foster care facility licensing act, 1979 PA 218, being MCL 400.701 et seq., and the child care organizations act, 1973 PA 116, being MCL 722.101 et seq., remain in effect.Mich.
